Towanda is a village in McLean County, IllinoisUnited States. The population was 480 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Bloomington–Normal Metropolitan Statistical Area.


Towanda is located at 40°33′52″N 88°53′57″W (40.564435, -88.899048).[16] According to the 2010 census, Towanda has a total area of 0.75 square miles (1.94 km2), all land.[17]
